Introducing Nanotechnology Tops at Iran National Nanotechnology Exhibition2008-10-18

Iran Nanotechnology Initiatives held the third Festival to appoint the nanotechnology tops at the end of the Exhibition in order to identify, introduce, and encourage the prominent companies and experts in the field and to collect data on active centers.

The Exhibition, held on October 15th, 2008 in Hijab City Hall, Tehran, Iran, was a step towards motivating agencies to be more active in the field of nanotechnology ranging from the production of knowledge to the production of wealth in national and international arenas.

The Festival introduced and appreciated an array of professionals such as experts, researchers, agencies, laboratories, and media who were most active in the field aiming to improve people’s lives. Appropriately, the selection criteria have been identified by a complete quantitative procedure by which the agencies themselves can do the ranking. They are based on the Nanotechnology Initiatives’ policies which depict the country’s values in the development of nanotechnology. The evaluation process is carried out by the created software and other companies can obtain information about their own ranking as well.
