INIC Registers for Iran Nano 2010 Int'l Festival2010-05-30

TEHRAN (INIC)- The Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC) has begun registration for the 'Third International Nanotechnology Festival (Iran Nano 2010)' to be held at Imam Khomeini Mosalla, Tehran, on October 25-29.

Domestic and foreign firms, entities, and institutes interested in taking part in the festival can register in the Festival's website at festival.nano.ir.

This year's Festival includes the following sections:
1. Exhibition
2. Public Education
3. Special Industrial Zone
4. Corridor of Nanotechnology Development Services
5. Nano Awards Ceremony
6. Workshops and Specialized Fora
7. Art and Nanotechnology Competition

According to the INIC, the objectives of holding the festival are discovering the research and industrial potentials in the field of nanotechnology, paving the way for the Iranian companies to take part in the international markets, and promoting the public awareness about nanotechnology products.

The first and second International Nanotechnology Festivals were held in October 2008 and November 2009, respectively.
